Best Dressed at Cannes 2019

Once again, the French Riviera was alive with the magic of film for the Cannes film festival this year. As international pictures debut and competed for the coveted awards, there is also considerable competition on the Red Carpet at Cannes 2019, as most celebrities are on top of their game for this walk.

Boon Joon-ho of South Korea received the Palme d'Or award, the festival’s top prize for his film Parasite. Parasite is a dark comedy laced with class imbalance and is the first Korean film to receive this award. The Grand Prix, known as the second prize, went to French-Senegalese filmmaker, Mati Diop for her feature debut, Atlantics. Atlantics is a film that focuses on social relevancy and love. Ms. Diop is the first black woman to have a movie in the main competition. We are proud to see that three of the four females who competed won prizes.

While there are many compelling films shown at Cannes this year, we would like to show you who we saw as the fashion winners.  Enjoy.
