Each person brings a unique skill to the table.

I recently heard a Ted Talk I would love to share with you.  Margaret Heffernan, entrepreneur, CEO, and author speaks to our working environment as she asks 'is success achieved by picking the brightest superstars'? Is this how we solve a problem, head a project, or run a country?  It focuses on the fact that everyone has value and each person brings a unique skill with them to the table.  When we come together and think things through as a group, interesting ideas begin to take shape, opportunities are discovered and inspiring decisions are made.  Heffernan points out “Companies don't have ideas. Only people do".

This Ted Talk is approximately 15 minutes long. It is a profound way to reconsider what energizes us to do our best work.
