Let's Travel to Gozo!
Today we are taking you around the world to the small island of Gozo. Gozo is part of Malta and located in the Mediterranean Sea. Many also know the island by its nickname the Isle of Calypso, due to its association with Homer’s Odyssey. Even though Gozo is considered to be more rural, its rich history and beautiful landscapes attract many people from around the world. For instance, the Ġgantija temples (from the Neolithic Period) are known to be some of the oldest structures to date globally.
Another popular spot to visit in Gozo is the Azure Window, a stunning rock formation created over a million years ago.
Gozo is also home to numerous beaches, making it one of the best destinations for water sports and underwater activities such as, fishing, diving, sailing and more. It is also a great place for hiking and rock climbing due to its interesting and rocky landscapes.
The summer season is the best time to visit the island of Gozo because it is when the famous Karnival, or carnival, takes place. People from the nearby Island of Malta come and partake in the island’s festivities and celebrate with food, drink, fireworks, and music. In the past, Karnival was known for a place for young men and women to find love, but has since developed into a festivity for anyone and everyone to have fun and perhaps find love too.
We think it’s always fun to learn about new places wherever they may be. To us, Gozo is a special and exotic destination. Perhaps Gozo will be your next travel spot and hopefully we were able to give you a quick escape or mental vacation from the normal stress of everyday life. Either way, we are always happy to share something positive with you. We would love to hear about the wonderful places you have been to or dream of going to!
Coco & Cyd believe that dreaming is important. Often when we dream and then turn these dreams into goals, they become our reality. Start small and have faith that what you want in life is attainable with determination, hard work, and the ability to allow yourself to find peace.
Thank you so much for joining us today!

Quote to take with you for the week:
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
